The Shadow House
Inspired by the 1933 essay In Praise of Shadows, an exploration of Japanese aesthetics by Junichiro Tanizaki, UK firm Liddicoat & Goldhill created The Shadow House in North London. Bare wood and black brick define the space, designed with an keen eye toward simplicity of materials and utilitarian living. Discovered on Remodelista. For more, visit Liddicoat & Goldhill.
